CAKE SMASH PREP GUIDE

 

This guide will help prepare you and your baby for your upcoming Cake Smash Session. Following this guide will help ensure your session runs as smoothly as possible.

session details

Cake Smash Sessions generally about 30 minutes to 45 minutes.  

1. We will start the session in their birthday outfit capture some smiles on cute props.
2. change the babe’s cloth and make him ready for the cake smash session, bring in the cake, get some detailed photos for cake and decoration.
3. Bubble Bath Portraits: we will ending session with bubble bath to have some more fun for baby. 

Need to  bring

— Cake leave at room temperature a few hours prior to the session to soften the icing. Smash outfit & optional second outfit.
— dry clean snacks (Cherrios or Puffs) and sippy cup of water.
— bubble bath if baby has sensitive skin.
— Baby’s favorite song that make baby happy if baby is not settle during cake smash
— extra pair of clothes for yourself and for baby and bring baby’s towel.

We will be ready with 

— Birthday props.
— Cake smash theme of your choice.
— Tub, bubble bath. 
— scented Bubblebath will be used unless supplied by parent (let me know of skin sensitivites)
 
 
 
During the session, relax and have fun! Make sure your baby is fed and get a good nap before the session.
Don’t assume they will dive right in. All parents hope that their little one will dive in and make a mess of the cake, that’s what you are paying for! But that doesn’t always happen and that’s okay. Not every child wants to dive right in and make a mess no matter what tricks we try. It’s important to know that even if they don’t turn their cake into a gooey pile of crumbs, I am still able to catch fun images of them poking at it or carefully picking bits of icing or decorations. It’s also a good idea to bring along a favourite toy and some snacks in case your little one needs some encouragement.
 
 
After the session, Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for editing. A USB drive with selected edited high-resolution images and all the products of your package will be deliver to your home, which includes a link to download the images.
